ANZASW RECERTIFICATION
ANZASW accepts the SWRB’s Certificate of Competency……..
The ANZASW Board has now accepted the Social Workers Registration Board Certificate of Competency as meeting the Recertification requirements for membership of ANZASW (Constitution Section 3.1.iii and Section 9.1).
- We do require however a copy of the SWRB Certificate of Competence in order to complete our records.
Members presenting SWRB Certificates of Competency for Recertification are also invited to reflect on what they have done in relation to the ANZASW Practice Standard 10, “The social worker uses membership of ANZASW to influence and reinforce competent practice” over the past 5 years. This can be done by way of a letter or e-mail to National Office.
APPLICATION FOR ANZASW MEMBERSHIP
Social Workers who are applying for membership of ANZASW and who hold a current SWRB Certificate of Competency are required to submit the following:
- A completed Membership Questionnaire
- A Supervisor reference
- A client reference
